I’m a licensed cosmetologist and natural hair specialist, and I’ve spent over 15 years helping women embrace and maintain their natural hair with confidence. But the deeper I got into this work, the more I realized something bigger was happening—something we weren’t talking about enough.

What If My Hair Doesn’t Grow Back?
It’s an important and valid question—and one we address with care and honesty.
Hair can only grow from active, healthy hair follicles. If a follicle has been permanently scarred or is no longer viable—due to certain types of hair loss—new hair growth may not be possible. Hair growth depends on blood flow, nutrient delivery, and follicle function. When circulation is compromised or the follicle is damaged beyond repair, regrowth becomes unlikely.
We understand that some forms of hair loss are more advanced and may require additional support from a trichologist, dermatologist, or medical professional.
